I'm sure glad my doctor embraces innovation instead of doing things the "old way"
My 60in UHD Flat Panel is a lot nicer than the B&W Tube picture w/ 4 channels that my Dad watched.
But God Forbid we develop new methods for educating kids, especially given Louisiana's stellar track record over the last 100 years.

It takes a slight amount more time today, so that way it will be easier for kids to learn higher level math down the road.
Which makes total sense.
But we are a nation of today, we don't prepare or care about the future. If we did, 99 percent of our problems would cease to exist. We want to maximize today, and the hell with tomorrow.
So, it makes total sense that parents would complain about something that is a little harder today, but with a payoff down the road.
