I don't recall but I wasn't really looking for that at the time. I do remember seeing some sort of "outhouse" looking structure near the shop in the back that I wasn't sure what it was...not sure if this had anything to do with it.

nah...this would be either a 4" PVC pipe sticking up or a manhole type cover that is about a foot and a half in diameter...also, not likely to be very far from the house...
