I have not lived in either, but I have heard enough good things about Portland that I would move there. I would be curious what the winters are like there, though.
Also, does the offer include anything about selling your house for you? Is AZ's housing market still down?

The winters are relatively mild is my understanding.
The offer does not include selling the house.
The AZ housing market has recovered nicely.
I bought in 2010 when the real estate here was obliterated so I stand to make a nice return.
of course real estate there is significantly more expensive, so it would all go right back into another home.
