That's what mine does too. It's normal

Do you see any grip screws? If not, you have an E2. The kit should have come with grip tool like this:

No grip screws and it did come with the tool. I do like the grip profile - seems slimmer than my older P229.

Is it possible this change in the standard decocking was done to accommodate some issues with the E2 grip? I could find nothing on my specific issue - it was just different enough from my past experience to warrant checking it out before I loaded it.

(So, no, I haven't shot it yet - probably going to be next month. I had way more 9mm ammo than I thought - )
