how did your crock pot chicken turn out yesterday?
after cooking for 6 hours everything in a crock pot no matter what kinda meat it is, has that same nasty crock pot taste imo.

I didn't cook chicken. I did a roast on the stove with gravy. I do like chili in the crock pot and that dip you like.

I cut and shaped a little stand to put in my crock pot to lift meat off the base about 1" if I wanted something to drain(like fat up pork loin) or only half submerged(like some chicken).
Made a difference. But I love the texture and consistency of chicken from a crock pot. Shredded up and mixed in salad or into a bbq sammich.
