That is the problem I am running into. Most people want damn near new money for used joe boats and almost none of them have papers on the small ones.
ETA: This boat would be drug out there and left for the season and doesn't have to cross any open water. Just want to wrap my head around if a 12' boat will be enough to put put two people and shotguns.

Absolutely. You won't go anywhere fast, but we would take my aforementioned set-up several miles up and down the red river when I had it in Shreveport.
