What was your first job and how old were you?

15 years old. I worked packing and shipping at Plain Jane, INC in Baton Rouge. They sold 1,000's of little mass produced pieces of art hand-painted on slate to catalogs. The warehouse was at Monterrey and S. Choctaw. Worked there through High School.

13 cutting grass, weeding flowerbeds, and doing basic outside work for a lady across the street from me.

16, worked at a funeral home for a year and a half. I was able to do everything except embalm.
I helped with embalmings, picked up bodies from houses/hospitals, rolled in/out for funerals, delivered flowers to/from the cemetery, picked up death certificates, etc. Pretty cool first job actually.

St. Bernard Parish green team. I just had turned 16. We did all kinds of shitty jobs including picking up dead nutria at the local park to painting parking lots. The good thing was every other day we took b.s. classes at the local community college so got paid to play on internet and learn how to type.
