Heres an article that sums it up pretty well. Looks like it could be another long season for us.

Yesterday, I was listening to Bobby Hebert and Mike D (I don't know why, okay). Mike said the Cubs have almost 50% new players on the roster this year compared to last year....that's 50% turnover since last season. That's incredible.
The Saints are going to be around an 8-8 team this year and that's not going to cut it with Drew Brees' window closing. I don't think it's closing as fast as some may think it is, but it's still closing.
This team has some good players on defense and after Week 1 in their first NFL season, guys like Swann, Kikaha, Davison, Breaux, Murphy and the UDFA's from this year have impressed me.
I'm not worried about Breaux's holding calls or Swann getting targeted so much. I like how they're playing. They're around their receivers and they're playing physical. They'll learn what they can and can't do in the NFL.
I guess I'm just going prepare myself to treat this season for the Saints like I did when the Cubs started this season...a lot could go wrong, but in the long run a lot could go right.

Should be a bannable offense.

I don't even care about the defense. I knew they weren't going to be good and I knew they were going to make that bum Carson Palmer look good. What grinds my gears is the offense and Sean Payton. You mean to tell we after weeks of preparing all you came up with were screen passes. They never challenged the Cardinals defense. Called the game like a pussy and lost like a pussy. That game was winnable, the defense, despite all it's issues provided many opportunities. Who in their right mind would think punting on 4th with our defense is ever a good idea, with a little more than a minute left in the game nonetheless.

Nothing but the obvious in this article. Young?
Five rookies starting. Pretty obvious . Depleted?
Both your starting D.B.'s and starting L.B. out.
What do you expect? What is obvious is the lack of a pass rush. The injured players should be back in place within the next couple of weeks but if we don't find a way to put pressure on the Quarterback even the average Q.B. in this league will pick you apart.
