Why did we get rid of Jenkins & Sproles again???

Sproles became ineffective in our offense, teams figured out how to to beat our scheme with him and his punt return game wasn't as good as it once was.
Jenkins probably just needed a change of scenery to revitalize his career.

Sproles starts off hot every year.
Last season he started off extremely well, but look at his total stats from last year. Not too impressive. I see that happening again.
Why not wait and see what Spiller does in this offense?
Jenkins was not good on the Saints. He was ok. Could be scheme, could be coaching. Some guys have came to the Saints where they played better than they did on the previous team they were on. These threads are getting old.

The fact with Jenkins is that we stuck with him for a long time but he just wasn't playing well with us. Who knows why, but what did you want us to do? Keep extending a guy who was wildly inconsistent?

big mistake letting Jenkins go. Even though I agreed with the decision at the time.
Don't care about Sproles. No doubt he lost a step his last season with the Saints but he def got his mojo back in Philly
