Well if I may be the one to help you to hone your "point grasping" skills, the connotation of "negro" hasn't changed in 40 years among people with a lick of common sense.

Other than it being phased out of being PC, what's the difference between Negro and Black?

If you cite era of use, why is People of Color acceptable again?
