I'm going to go ahead and say that Eastern Washington is not better than Northern Illinois.
NIU, since the turn of the decade, has won 11+ games each season and has a record of 57-10 (.850).
Their two coaches prior to Rod Carey are now at P-5 programs that have begun to turn their current programs around.
They are a very good developmental program that has churned out good coaches lately.
