I'm pretty sure Beckwith was yet to be installed at full time MLB by MSU last year. That obviously will make a HUGE difference this time around.

This is correct. He played some snaps but certainly wasn't the Beckwith that showed up against Bama.
Those 3 (I think) absolutely killer 3rd and longs that they converted would NOT have happened with Beckwith roaming the middle.
