The state gov up here is as fricked up as a football bat. Just this morning on the bottom of the hour news update they were talking about how the gov wants to raise cigarette taxes to make up for the shortfall in the budget. The very next story was how the state was trying to shut down the Indian casinos here in Alabama.

Oh yeah, the Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard is currently under indictment on 23 counts of using his office for personal gain and
Other ethics violations.
He's the guy that "stormed the statehouse" starting with all new ethics laws....that apparently he believes shouldn't apply to him.
