I love Faherty. He added great humor to any broadcast. Someone will get him.

I've seen him speak in person twice and attended a small photo shoot with him last winter. You couldn't be more wrong.

Once, one of the other boring announcers was commenting about one tree on the course being larger than the rest and wonder why this was/happened. Feherty replied "Maybe it had more ambition". I almost shite myself laughing. Don't think the other guy really caught the subtle dig at his stupid ponderings.
ETA: Just because you don't get his humor, only makes him unfunny to you.
