I disagree if you've ever read the books. Bond was specifically described and based off of many of Ian Flemings own traits.

That being said the character Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan played had little to do with the character from Flemings novels. Although, Craigs portrayal is much closer to the Bond Fleming envisioned.

I just think trying to shoehorn every black British actor into the role is silly, especially after going to such lengths to soft "reboot" the series with/ Craig.
