European sports culture is just different than ours.

Clubs are so much different than Franchises.

Even more so in Germany where the fans own part of their club. My team was still pulling around 30k while playing in the 2nd division.

Dortmund having a total shite year was still pulling 80k a match.

The thing about that though is that the clubs in the EPL are not really clubs anymore. They are owned by foreign billionaires. They are now franchises and Americans are following the big ones.

I understand the club mentality over there, but human nature dictates that the old club days are waning.
