...any chance Trump could win a decent portion of the black vote?

The black vote is so insignificant it wouldn't make a difference anyway. Same is true of the Hispanic vote, the Republican candidate doesn't need it to win. The only thing necessary to win is to turn out the conservative base.

There was a study by the WSJ after 2012 that said even if Romney got 100% of Hispanic votes, he still would've lost. However, if Romney would've gotten the same amount of votes as McCain in 2008, he would've won. Obama is the only President to be reelected with both fewer popular and electoral votes and would've lost to a conservative candidate.

The solution is simple, get conservative and you win big (e.g. 1994, 2010, 2014), nominate liberal candidates, talk about compromise and pander to people who disagree with you and you lose (e.g. 2008, 2012).

You are kind of misinformed on this. Do you realize that Obama won Florida because he pretty much swept Miami? He got so many votes in southern Florida, from latinos and blacks, that he was able to win the state in both elections. The same thing with Ohio. He basically won in Cincy and Cleveland, ball game. Without those two states its hard for him to get elected the second time especially.
