Every generation faces challenges that prior generations did not. My father fought in world war two. My generation was the last group living with the military draft, in a time of an ongoing unpopular war.
Life is not fair. Our educational system is broken. On and on. I can't help the financial conditions you face. Don't fall into the trap of blaming adverse circumstances on someone different from you. Not all old people are/were assholes, just like not all young people are not whining little babies. For what it is worth, in my experience, young people are suffering from a outdated and politically correct educational system, and they are often not well trained or suited for the job market they face. They are given unrealistic expectations by a society that lies to them about the harshness of life. Your generation needs to change that.
