It's just kinda funny to me that they would be arrogant when they're viewed as a lower tier school by everyone that goes to better Texas universities
SMU is comprised of a lot of the wealthiest kids across the country-especially California and the Northeast. It's got a far higher percentage of OOS kids than A&M, UT, and TCU. A&M and Texas are more so instate kids.
Still schools like LSU, Bama, Arkansas, and Ole Miss have gotten a lot of kids from good families and resumes just from the 8% rule alone
