19 year old Korean dude took Stan to three tiebreaks. That is pretty impressive.

Apparently, Sock just retired up two sets to one. People saying he basically passed out from exhaustion.

Is this the day Isner falters? I just do not understand him or his effort. I get he is trying as hard as he can, but he just seems to be so lifeless out there and flames out, especially if he gets down early.

Makes you wonder why they don't have the heat rule in place for the men too?

It was uncomfortably hot in DC today and I was outside for all of 5-10 minutes. It wasn't quite as hot in NYC as it was in DC, but it was close. And so I'm not surprised to see retirements. Playing tennis today would have been difficult. I had sweat dripping off my face, again, after less than 10 minutes outside and no more than a two block walk. It was that hot.

Also, Jack Sock sweats literally more than anyone I've ever seen before in my life. I mean, Rafa sweats like crazy and it's maybe half as bad as Sock. I'm definiely not surprised to see him have cramping issues. I feel bad for the guy, to be clear, but just can't say it's totally unexpected given his propensity for leaking fluids coupled with today's conditions.
