Wilson hasn't really had any receiving weapons. Cam has had better receivers than Russell.

Wilson is still the better player.
One can be considered around top 8-10 as far as QBs in the NFL. The other is middle of the pack and hasn't progressed as a player after 4 seasons.

JJ Watt won DPOY, and does a TON of community projects, he just doesn't crow about it like cam "look at me" newton does. As far as Russell Wilson goes, he's won a super bowl and has accomplished a lot more than cam on the field. So maybe thats why he gets more attention.
