Is he seeing this fall's practices? Because LF's freshman season, while nice, was nowhere near good enough to,deserve that kind of ridiculous hyperbole.

LF didn't start off as well as he ended the season, but didn't he break an LSU freshman rushing record?

Also, everyone's talking about Guice and the QB's and linemen, but Cam said in the spring that Fournette was the most improved player at the beginning of practices. We're probably all taking him for granted right now. I'm looking forward to big things from him.

Wrong... At the end of the season last year it was CLEAR he is an elite college running back.

Fournette trucks Matthews

Can you really watch that video and say he doesn't deserve the hype???

That's over 1000 yds with a mediocre oline, the worst qb play in the SEC, and having to share carries with a committee, and an excruciatingly boring and predictable offense.

exactly what I was thinking...the amount of hype he gets is really nothing short of amazing. really kind of unfair to him as well...

He led the sec in all purpose yards as a true freshman.

His 5.5 YARDS PER CARRY dwarfs the first year yards per carry of all the great lsi rbs.
Higher than Charles Alexander.
Higher than Kevin Faulk.
Higher than Dalton Hilliard.
Higher than Jeremy Hill.
