If she moves north along the east coast of FL she will be pushing water inland ahead of her.

Honestly, this storm is getting spookier and spookier........the forecast track indicates she could bounce back out and also hit the Carolinas.
That said, she could get wasted soon enough. Crazy!

Yeah. It's a great place. It's not for everyone but no place is for everyone. Were you looking for a discussion about the positives about Jax or just being an arse?

do you think she would survive a direct hit on Hispaniola?
Hard to say but a weak system might stand a better chance than a strong system. A lot depends on the large scale environment beyond the island and that looks decent at this time. The atmospheric physics of the mesoscale (thunderstormish scale) mountain interactions aren't well understood (but new research might say differently) but typically the vortex will "flow" to the right. In this case, that would put it north of the island in a more favorable environment.

Suck another dick. That is unless you've finally found the will to quit. In that case, congrats.

Based on projected path shouldn't your title read "continued westward and Northern shift?" It hasn't moved more southern to my knowledge.

Bay, In your professional opinion, who is the best amateur hurricane tracter that posts in these threads?

You'll have to excuse me for posting something really relevant to a potential middle of Florida land-falling hurricane.
For about the 7th time over 2 storms ..
