Helicopter parents. I have a friend girl with an 8th grader, single mom - no pics, and she is all over that kids every move. I am worried he is going to grow up and not be able to ask a girl on a date or apply for a job without mommies help. I was practically on my own by 10th grade.give the kids zoom room to grow and be there when they need you.
