So yall play against each other if the scheduled team is in league and just play AI if not? How many hours a week does this result in?
Yes, and the good part about this in lieu of NCAA is if there is a game that needs to be simmed vs a user it will not make or break a season. We should be able to cruise a lot faster.
In the ncaa dynasty, we waited a lot since a single loss would almost eliminate a user from the championship. With NFL we have playoffs and we expect there to be losses to the CPU in there as well.
I would think less than 6 hours a week, just pending on practice, game prep, scouting, and fooling around in the franchise. With 2 advances, you could get by with only 3 hours a week I would think as the minimum.

maybe if we were doing 15 minutes quarters
I watched Brandon go through the first few parts of the franchise last night. The game prep stuff takes no time. You have 60 "hours" of prep time to put towards players for experience/confidence. You select the players you want to put it towards and it takes no time at all.
The fantasy draft will be very interesting. You get 1:30 for the first 10 or 15 rounds. It then goes to 1:00, and then 0:45 from rounds 25 and on. Once you get to about round 30 it starts to be a bunch of players that are meh and that's about where people could let the cpu draft the rest.
I would recommend that everyone run through a mock draft just to be familiar with the setup and make sure it goes smoothly.
We've also decided that everyone will be making new head coaches after we pick our teams. Makes the most sense and everyone will be starting fresh with coaching xp.
