The coldest that I remember would have been during Coach Mac's tenure and it was the last game of the season against those boys used to the cold from Utah. I believe we beat them something like 35 to 7. Tiger Stadium was about half full as it was a losing season that year or maybe .500, cant exactly remember but at Kickoff I remember it being around 38 degrees and dropping to near freezing by the end of the game. Would have been between 1973 or 1974 season.

Just went back thru the thread and DenverTigerMan has it , the 1974 game agains Utah, that has to rank as one of the coldest in my lifetime.

I was thinking about that game from the Mac era, but thought we were playing Wyoming in the game I remember being so cold. Honorable mention to the Miami drubbing where we got soaked from a downpour in the first half and a blue norther roared through after halftime and I was in a polo shirt. Most hard nips of all time.

But...Troy. Yes, I bailed, shortly after halftime. Frozen. Horrible walk back to the car. Youngest son was in the Stadium Club, said it was as empty as he's seen TS during a game.
