I don't think we are the most intense. Besides, that's hard to define. We love our Tigers for sure, but wouldn't you call fanaticism that leans almost towards religiosity in BAMA fans...intense? Or those wackos up in Happy Valley? Lots of fans are intense.
However, I think we do all of it the best...from the pageantry, to the unique traditions, to the colors, the food, the passionate fans, Mike the Tiger, Tiger Band, etc.
When you put it all together, we stand apart. And given our culture down here already stands out, for outsiders the experience becomes otherworldly when they are simply a third party and not the focus of that Saturday's game.

agreed....and I'll add, I think what made us the best back in the day was wanting to be relevant on a national scene so badly. not all games were televised so when ESPN or CBS came to town, it was HUUUUGE....now its just par for the course.
and another opinion of mine, we in the south tend to have a stick-together-ness to outsiders because we're looked at as being assbackwards to other regions, so LSU football was a place we all came together and made it great.....but this can also be said of other states in the south, Louisiana is a little different.

Neither do I. We are unique and I do think we have some crazy and intense fans and maybe for one game once every few years we make TS what everyone thinks it's like all the time...but I think there are some fan bases out there more intense.
