There's only about 15 schools that are going to be able to survive. Hell, most of the SEC schools aren't going to be able to out-pay the Big Ten

I have no problem if NCAA athletes want to be considered employees just as soon as they agree to pay taxes on their income. They can not have it both ways. And if they are employees, their medical coverages are covered by their states' workers compensation laws, not an all encompassing health plan. Their meal plan: what company pays for its employees to eat for free?
