I had a car with a tinted windshield before and never got tickets. Then I had a truck with 20% and got pulled over all the time. Now that I'm older I just go darkest legal, it's not worth the headaches.

Still thinks it's bullshite that cops can have limo tint all the way around and I can't go darker than 35%.
I am shocked the 2nd amendment wackos aren't all over this. They are the ones always saying police should not be able to have things that we cannot have.

35% is bullshite. Had my windows tinted to 35% in Nola, then got transferred to Dallas. 25% is legal in TX. Never have gotten around to having it redone. It really does cut down on the heat and it just looks good.

Never understood this either. Especially since cops say its dangerous and keeps you from seeing clearly out at night and during rain. But of course more and more police agencies are going limo like you said. Even state police who never had tinted windows are now blacking out the tahoes and crown vics.
