The best part about a lake being drawn down is you get to see OTHER PEOPLE'S structures not put out your own.

I might get my GPS and walk around and mark everything I see in and around my cove.

Dumb rookie angler question. So you are supposed to fish right on top of the artificial reef? My son loves to fish off the pier and I don't want to set up some sort of pseudo Asian tiger pit that he can jump and impale himself on a sharpened poisoned bamboo spear. Water is about 12ft deep at the end of the pier. Guessing about 15-20ft in the middle. Shallowest part is about 3ft under our boardwalk. I think I might build up some concrete forms and try to make some reef balls. Wouldnt' be round but would be more squarish. Might be a heavy bastard to lug into the cove though.

if u have a good bottom just a bunch of cinder blocks works great too but will not go all though the water column. get a green light to attract fish. Wickowick knows all about them
