I don't consider speedy a miss. It was a luxury in the first place, and it would be a luxury now. Derrick Dillon is a similar player to Speedy.

Speedy is going to be elite before it's over. Ca is definitely elite. Daquille is also elite.

LSU will survive and thrive without these guys...but it doesn't make sense to pretend those guys aren't great players.

Where does luxury equal not great player? Where does inconsistent hands equal not great player? Coates also had inconsistent hands, but he was on fire the last two years.

Williams would have done nothing to help our situation last year, plus he was injured a couple games and suspended for the bowl game.

Speedy is a great player and will be an ALL SEC player the next two years, but again, he was a luxury. Before he announced we had already had Quinn, Chark, and Upchurch, and then after he announced, we got Dupre on NSD. Donte Jackson looks to be an excellent option as a return man, Dillon is similar athletically to Noil and Tyron Johnson has Odell Beckham ability. With Dural and Diarse already top 5 at the position, is Speedy really a miss? We're freaking loaded!
