The real issue with Miles and QB position

What is clearly apparent is that many LSU fans, myself included, aren't confident that there will be a fair QB battle between AJ and BH. Rather most believe AJ will start no matter what happens. This is not totally unfounded as we saw this played out before between JJ and JL. If Miles starts AJ most fans will still believe BH is the better QB which means Miles credibility is virtually zero. This really needs to be addressed by Miles but I really don't think he cares to do so. The end result is fan morale continues to decline which is not good for the program. I wish Miles would realize this and clearly demonstrate that whoever starts is the best QB.

I love how lsu "fans" think miles owes them explanations when he doesn't play their favorite player. You sound like one of those whiny travel league little league parents that can't handle their son not playing.

Spot on. I've never been less excited about an upcoming season since I got my season tickets in 97. AJ is the worst starting QB to suit up for LSU since then with the exception of Andy Hatch who started all of 2-3 games. I'll be watching most of the games this fall from my couch.

and just how is Miles supposed to do this. maybe appear on TV and give statistical comparisons from practice? maybe discuss the 2 players personality deficiencies and compare their work ethic?
