AC/DC 1970's Bon Scott era. Wish I could go back in time and be at the Apollo Theatre in Glasgow 4/30/1978 when If You Want Blood You've Got It was recorded. The energy that flows out of the speakers when listening to that now, couldn't imagine being there live.
Watched the movie The Doors again last night. Would have loved to see The Doors in concert circa 1968-1970. That would have been a heck of an experience.
Iron Maiden for sure. Still on my bucket list. Would have loved to see them in their prime in the 80's but I know they still bring it today so, yeah, I'd take that.
All the usuals that have been listed already, Zepellin in the 70s, Hendrix, the Dead, etc, etc.
Walk into some small joint in Texas in the 70's and Willie Nelson or David Allen Coe is on stage doing their outlaw thing.
It just feels like concerts in the late 60's, 70's were effed up deals. Alcohol and drugs everywhere, just freaking crazy. Everything today feels so vanilla.
