IF Harris is better, he will start.
If Harris isn't better that AJ we are looking at another 4-5 loss season.
Most QBs improve in college as they get more years of experience.

so I guess you have changed from sucking off Sumlin to Harbough now, eh?
LSU brought in a transfer and has a 5* committed...
We weren't last year.

And that is fine, although I have hope that if AJ does start, that he can improve
I think it's a very FSUesque look to allow a kid who got arrested to start and not serve suspension of any games. Just my opinion.

tRant for some reason never believes that players can improve
well, because we had a QB who was almost a carbon copy of Jennings who played all 4 years and never improved.

Is it too much to ask for our coach to be fricking honest sometimes?
How do you know they aren't being honest?

well
1) JJ improved...kinda
2) Just because JJ didn't improve, doesn't mean AJ can't.

That's quite the inference you're making.

the dumbassery shown on this board really makes me sad sometimes

I do love Moustache's melts though

We should just put Fournett in the wildcat every play

Harbaugh at least recognizes what is necessary.
And I don't believe I ever sucked off Sumlin lol.

THe transfer can't play this year and why didn't we bring in any major recruit in the 2015 class at QB?
quote:
We weren't last year.
WHY? We had indisputably the worst starting QB in the SEC and arguably the worst among the power 5 conferences. We have a guy on the bench who showed flashes against an inferior opponent, but somehow he can't beat out the worst QB in the SEC. Who's to say he will pan out? Why not bring in another QB in 2015 class? Now, we are VERY thin at QB. It makes absolutely no sense.

he said that all of the QBs had and that you really start to see players rise in maturity and leadership in their 3rd year..
Is there more than one in the third year?

Fair enough.

Statistically, he got worse.

2) Just because JJ didn't improve, doesn't mean AJ can't.
Yes, except AJ was the same exact player last season as the player in the outback bowl. I saw no improvement. That's not very encouraging.

Fournette with Donte Jackson on the sweep honestly isn't worse than AJ and Dural on the sweep that we ran against TAMU.
Posted on 8/4/15 at 10:42 am to Salmon
Of course they do. I'm not implying they don't. I'm just saying it's frustrating that we don't know for sure that we have a better option.

Sigh. You're right. If AJ improves like Jefferson did, he'll only need a world class defense and heisman contender returning punts to lose in an embarrassing manner in the NC game.
Too bad we hired Kevin Steele and we will need the offense to improve mightily with the depth Chavis left us with.

Dude...bringing in a 2 star that nobody else wanted isn't exactly what I'd call pursuing a QB in the 2015 class.

not miserable, just calling it like I see it. The rest of the SEC sees it too. LSU fans right now are the ostrich with it's head in the sand.
We need marked improvement at QB or we will be seeing mediocrity and a very sad end to a great career Les has had.
