Nah. I'll just let him grab my paperwork from under my gun if he wants. Last time the guy took the gun out, unloaded it, put it in my back seat, asked me how I liked it and if I shot it often, if I could hit anything with it, said he was going to buy one for his wife but never had the chance to shoot one yet, and told me to slow down. I was pulled over for going 15 over in a school zone and got a warning from NOPD. How many here can say that? Probably not anybody who is taping traffic stops and not letting an officer grab paperwork out of the glove box.

Such voluntary acquiescence is alien to me, perhaps as my view is to you.
I will leave the Constitutional angle alone and just say that at a minimum there are things I own that are nice enough that I don't want some clueless public servant fumbling around with them beside a road.

I'm glad it went well for you, but NOPD is pretty well-known for theft and making up their own rules.
