Yep. They ask first and I let them. I'm not dropping my glove box open and reaching over a loaded gun that he doesn't know is there to get my insurance and registration out. i keep it in an envelope that says insurance and registration on it.

Why do you keep a pistol in the glove box? That seems like the worst place to keep a weapon for protection.
