People get pissed at home warranty companies because they think just because they're A/C isn't cooling properly it means they'll get a whole new system installed. That's not how it works. We have American Home Shield and have been nothing but pleased. They've paid for a new dishwasher, pool pump, 2 ceiling fans, garbage disposal and garage door opener in the last few years. Each time it's cost me $75. I've never had any issues with them. The pool pump took a few times to get a new one. They came out a few times in a few weeks and tried different seals and gaskets. It was all under the same $75 claim though.
