I like having a gasser and a charcoal grill. Gas is great for quick and easy, like searing a couple of ribeyes last night after they were cooked sous vide.
The charcoal Weber kettle is great when I have more time and want some smoke flavor. It gets used for everything from jerk chicken to smoked duck.
A good kettle only costs $150, so have both.
