As long as LSU is moving the football, I don't care how they actually get it in the endzone. The death of this offense has been their approach of: 1st down - running into a 9 man box for 3 yards; 2nd down - running into a 9 man box for 2 yards. 3rd down - attempting a very conservative pass to one pre-designated receiver, or being so terrified to try to pick up the 1st down through the air that they run up the middle on 3 and 5 to no avail.
If you go back to 2013, which is clearly LSU's most prolific passing year since at least 2008 you'll see that outside of the UGA game and the non-conf cupcakes, LSU didn't score a ton through the air. They did however keep the chains moving on third down with the passing game.

this is exactly what we've done in recent years and it is mind-boggling. I understand the lack of ability at the QB position but for the love of god do something imaginative...anything!!!!
