I'm not the one trying to say one is better than the other based on a spring game

But yes, there are plenty of plays from last year that Quinn was impressive

You could have fooled me. Questioning the legitimacy whether or not Chark out performed Quinn in the past spring game. There have been multiple reports where it has been stated Chark was making a real push to become the #2 WR, but by all means continue to throw the rock and hide your hand.

I agree.

I would not base much off of a spring game in which one group of WR going against our walk ons and backup secondary, with the other group going against our first team defense.

As for other posters, DJ Chark is much improved and primed to really help us. So is #8. They are Tigers and great teammates to each other, leave it at that, no need for anybody to bring race into this...."great white hope", etc. I always find it amusing when posters make these comments, then follow that up with comments/complaints about how many posters come to his defense afterwards. Ahh.......The Rant!

I don't care who starts, just want one of them to emerge and be 'average' at least so we can win. LSU wins championships with 'average' qb play.

I only questioned your use of that game as some sort of open and shut case of Chark being better or above Quinn overall.

Clearly from reports on here and elsewhere Chark has passed Diarse and Quinn at this point and his pushing "Chi". No big deal and no reason for people to get upset. Hell so many believe Miles plays favorites to the detriment of the team and yet have their own favorites. It doesn't mean the 4th, 5th and maybe the 6th WR will not play.

If Jackson beats out Paris and Tolliver, how is this bad? What this means to me is LSU has four quality CBs in a rotation that will play in every game.

Some of you act like every starter plays every snap except in blow outs or because of injury. In reality this only happens at OL and QB.

I wish a reporter, just once, would go "Les, what the frick are you even talking about? Thats not how words work. Thats half a sentence with zero meaning."

How does Les order at a restaurant?

Sir what will you be having?

"We are aware of burgers, and additionally, it is possible, that french fries or salads"
Do you see those little dots after the phrase "at a point"? There are three of them. They're little so take a good look.

Those little dots are called an ellipsis. Merriam-Webster provides a definition for an ellipsis:

a : the omission of one or more words that are obviously understood but that must be supplied to make a construction grammatically complete

b : a sudden leap from one topic to another

Now, you can attempt to understand that perhaps there is an omission of words from the quote. Or you can attempt to understand that perhaps something happened at the Rotary Club meeting that caused a change in the topic, after all, Miles was speaking extemporaneously rather than reading from a prepared statement.

Or you can continue to be an a-hole who makes weak attacks on a partial quote of some comments made at a Rotary Club meeting.

Says a lot when you're comparing him to the rest of the depth chart. Also, when LSU runs quite a bit, and when the QB only completed 48% of his passes...

No. The same ones calling for Harris now will be the same bitches complaining. Some people are just miserable.

No, no one will be happy. IF BH starts...and then shites the bed....then we all know we're fricked for the rest of the season and can move on to more amusing diversions.

Miles said that Boutte is “the largest man I have ever known.”

So, how big is Boutte?

I just looked at your post history for a few mins.
Damn soul bro, you have some built up anger for the white man it appears.
You might should see someone about it. Wouldn't want to see you in a surveillance video beating a dude and his girl up while getting gas and some smokes.
Hope Chark and Quinn explode this year. You should hope the same.

This is Les for sure. Especially when talking about the Harris/Jennings saga.

“Brandon Harris is taking much of the summer snaps and we also think that Anthony Jennings is at a point … both of those two guys will compete and the best guy’s going to be our quarterback.” I think it is hard to instill confidence in an individual when you will not admit that confidence. AJ has not had any preparation over the summer since his debacle and still he can be at a point to compete with the one who has been practicing all along. I am a reasonable sort but help me understand this as I do not see it.

All I have in my head is AJ saying it is his team and he will be the starter.
