I honestly don't think that was very dark. Not bad though. The little mermaid song is much much darker. Being turned into fricking seaweed and being kept as a trophy in a miserable little cave for the rest of eternity with that creepy witch is super dark.

I'd say that Hellfire is much darker than Poor Unfortunate Souls. Ursula is just doing pretty standard evil and merely plans on using Ariel to break a deal with Triton. Frollo's song on the other hand is a song about not only not taking responsibility for his own hair sniffing lust, but blaming her. He then comes to the conclusion that he must either frick/rape her to cleanse his spirit or have her burn alive and then be eternally damned. The song is about justifying rape and murder and then entirely blaming the victim of it for supposedly leading him on. I can't think of a much darker subject for a song than that.
