Russian honeybees...

Any of yall familiar with these? Saw my first Russian honeybees today, in the wild. Bigger than our native honeybees, but a little more aggressive, too. They were brought into Baton Rouge first, I understand? Native honeybees are hard to find up here now. LINK

I have Italian bees
they are docile and easy to manage and very prolific
they also make a mean marinara sauce

No honeybees are native here. They were introduced from Europe. The Russian strain is less common here than the other strains, like the Italian bees, but are available.
