Yeah that’s one of the more depressing talking points of the decline. The only spark keeping my USMNT love alive right now is our youth teams consistently doing better than they ever have before.

I hope, but I think our problems lie deeper than just lack of talent. The USSF's handling of the USMNT has not really changed when they promised it would post-Trinidad.
We have a Sunil-puppet as president so those politics are still in play. We still have little transparency. Even with the talent, I have very little faith that the USSF/USMNT is setup for them to succeed.
