Hoffenheim's Corey Anton has now *apparently* received US citizenship and is able to represent the US in official competition. #USMNT LINK
The athletic right back has made 1 app for Germany, scoring on his debut in a friendly vs Austria. He also appeared with US U18s in early 2016. The '99 is eligible for the next U20 World Cup cycle.
It should be noted that Corey tore his ACL in late August and missed the rest of the year. Who knows the player he is currently, but if he can get back to his previous level, then he would undoubtedly be an asset to #USYNT
