So is PM at fault for telling a kid the reality of the situation?
It depends. If PM wanted him gone, no. If a coach told the "reality of the situation" to every player and recruit, he wouldn't be a coach for very long.

Didn't he tell Foster he wasn't guaranteed anything last year?
Are you really comparing those two situations? Foster had zero options.

The problem so may kids have these days is they've been brought up to believe they're "special" players by their parents, and in some cases, travel-ball coaches
I bet PM tried to make him feel special during his recruitment too.

i mean, he could have just as easily transferred to an NAIA school and found a guaranteed starting spot. It's a poor comparison because he was drafted in the 5th round and is a much better pure athlete than Zardon

Baseball fans were already pissed off for the Tigers' offensive drought in playoffs and worried bout next year's team with so few returning position players and now this.....

The internet picture of dark, ominous clouds over The Box and the "Intimidator" says more than 1,000 words......

All of which brings up the obvious next question of WWSBHD ( What Would Skip BERTMAN Have Done ) ?
