Not surprised by the Payton stuff though. The viccodin scandal had some roots and Payton is a bit of an egomaniac.

Wait what?! I get what you are saying but do you not understand the media circus that would have surrounded the team had news broke of two gay teammates fricking each other?
Payton does not like the type of media distractions that would have brought along.
