I was just looking at day trips to Champagne. My wife would love that.
Would it be insane to take a day trip to London? It's only 2 hours by train. Of course I'd only have 9-10 hours there.

I dont think it would be insane, however I am the type of traveler who wants to stay somewhat in similar region. So I am fine to go to Barcelona and tour the costa brava, but wouldnt want to take ferry to Morocco.
London is such a big undertaking, that will be an exhausting day.
