Spending $20+ on some poached eggs and hollandaise has zero appeal for me. I'd rather drop $10 bucks on a bowl of pho or get a plate of traditional breakfast at a local diner, then head to a bar. Brunch food overall is just not impressive and the whole "scene" people make it out to be is often lame as frick.
