Easy for us. Pack a lunch for work that consists of the previous night's leftovers. Add granola and yogurt for breakfast, along with a few other snacks from home to get me thru the day.

Rinse and repeat the next day.

Yeah, I'd say we are able to do it once or twice a week. We try to go to the grocery every Sunday to buy what we need for the week, so unless I need to stop and get gas on the way to work, we shouldnt have too many daily expenses. Wife stays at home with 2 kids.

right

it sounds easy enough...just doesn't seem to happen very often for my family

before I looked, I figured we did it at least once a week, but nope

Easy for me, too. Packed lunch most days, make an iced coffee at home for the drive to work. Free coffee at work. We generally shop in bulk once a month or so, with a produce or farmer's market run once a week. Easy for me to go a week without spending...my most frequent purchase is probably fuel.
