If ducks are flaring and the dog is behind cover, most likely your cover is not good enough. A white lab will not make ducks flare if he is in cover. I've killed tons of limits with my white lab.

Questionable cover is not really a big issue for a black dog. Heck, we put them on stands with zero cover in the woods and kill Green but that shite doesn't work for white dogs.

All I am saying is that you have to go above and beyond to conceal the white ones where you can get away with much less to none at all with black ones. Btw, I own a practically white YLF after 5 previous Black Labs.
